As per Lauren, Fotis was chasing Jennifer through the house throughout the summer of 2017.
He continued banging to unlock it until he learned Almeida and one of his children were also in the room when Jennifer locked herself in her room, the nanny told the police.

Lauren Almeida, the family nanny, is now taking care of the children of Jennifer and Fotis.
Nanny told authorities she believed her estranged husband, Fotis Dulos, of being involved in the eight-month absence of the Connecticut mother-of-five.
Police also disclosed that on the day of Fotis Dulos’ arrest, they took an ax from his Farmington, Connecticut, residence.
However, the authorities never discovered the body of Jennifer, and she is assumed dead as evidence of a significant attack in the garage of her New Canaan home.

Michelle Troconis, his ex-girlfriend, has pled not guilty to murder conspiracy, tampering with evidence, and impeding prosecution in the case of Jennifer Dulos’ disappearance.
Kent Mawhinney, a longtime friend and former attorney of Fotis Dulos, has pleaded not guilty to murder conspiracy in the case.
Reportedly, Fotis Dulos committed suicide while facing murder, abduction, and other allegations in the case in 2020.
